I am wondering how this company and their drivers are allowed to take kids to school. The vans they use is NOT safe worthy, unprofessional drivers and horrible office staff. What a joke this is.

My driver doesn't show up for three days and when I call to complain the person on the phone says the driver was there and it's my word against the driver. Worst service ever. BTW Direct Transportation, my phone records all calls.

Worst company I’ve dealt with! I’ve been calling everyday for the last 6 days since school started as my son is supposed to get a car seat and not a booster seat. Everyday they promise me they’ll take care of it right away and everyday he still has a booster seat and not a car seat. Beyond annoyed! They also don’t even install the seats correctly. Last year one of the car seat straps wasn’t even connected to the car seat and the straps were all twisted. This year every single seat belt in the vehicle is twisted.

Terrible drivers, nearly took off my front end when I was driving straight, and he was pulling out of a condo complex.When I confronted the driver he said he didn't even see me.If you see these drivers be cautious as they do not care.

I was never told that I needed to provide booster seat for my five years old son. I was informed 5 days early by the direct transport office that my son's transportation had been scheduled finally starting on September 11 and that the driver would call me. He never called until the morning of September 11 when he called to ask for directions to our location. He arrived 15 minutes late and was yelling booster seat". I don't have a car so how would I have a booster seat on short notice. If I was told earlier I would have had that ready. I decided to withdraw my son from school entirely. He is on the Autism spectrum and he has been treated like he is less of a human being. He is my baby

These guys are unprofessional and unreliable. We have explicitely told Direct Transportation FOUR (4) times that we do not require their services; we drive our son to school ourselves. I received another call tonight, advising me that a driver was coming. What a farce; if this wasn't negatively affecting a likely innocent driver and myself, I'd laugh. If you can avoid using them, I would; unfortunately, Ottawa-Carleton District School Board has chosed to work with them exclusively it seems.

Absolutely horrific people. The driver I encounter every day parks the van directly over the sidewalk forcing people to walk around on a very traffic heavy road. I have repeatedly asked him to move into the REALLY spacious driveway but he pretends not to understand. He did however manage to start speaking once I took photos of him, the licence plate and the fairly empty driveway. DANGEROUS. I'd give zero stars, not one star.

2nd time now submitting a police report for an incident I have on video. The first was one of these vans travelling easily 140hm/hr on the 417. Yesterday, they travelled up the service lane of the 417 during heavy traffic and cut across the onramp, at speed. Children are in these vehicles.

ZERO stars for the rude ladies who attend calls when drivers dont show up. I had many terrible experiences but the most shocking experience today. Driver was supposed to pick both children at 8:10am and didn't show up at all. I called many times to Direct Transportation first at 8:30am and they kept telling me he will be there shortly. My kids have Autism and waiting for that long made them really anxious and younger one started crying nonstop. When I called for the 4th time the lady said to me you are yelling at me" I had my three kids with me who can confirm I wasn't yelling

I had my own experience with one of the drivers. Completely blocked my into a parking space on Christmas eve while he was doing groceries. So, sandwiched between 2 cars, I had to wait for this man to leave the store so I could get out. But it was no problem. Its Christmas eve and I have no where else to be, right? When I told him to move his car he stood there and stared at my vehicle blankly like he didnt understand. If this is the demographic you are hiring, I know some potatoes who will work for free.
